This issue is seen on laptops running an Intel Iris Xe graphics chip. To prevent the crash, you will need to run the software using software rendering. To do this, either:
- Re-install the software and ensure "use software rendering" is ticked in the appropriate dialog. This is done by default on the most recent installers.
- Open a file explorer and navigate to the installation folder for the software. Then change the file named opengl32sw.dll to opengl32.dll. The software should work without issue when started.
