I've changed server and need to provide the hostid of the new machine so that a new license can be made. How do I find it?
Solution
To find the hostid, on the server machine:
- Ensure that you have the RLM licensing software installed
- Open the web host manager interface (localhost:5054)
- Click the "System Info" button in the left panel
- Note down the 32-bit hostid
- Email it to licensing@limitstate.com
